<p>In reference to Decree №. 254 from May 10<sup>th</sup>, 2018 of Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan “About making changes to Decree № 127 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 19<sup>th</sup>, 2012, "on approving the standard rules for admission to educational organizations, implementing general education programs for the primary, elementary and secondary education":</p><p>According to paragraph 8, parents or other legal representatives of the child or student have the right to choose any educational organization for education;</p><p>According to paragraph 10, educational organizations implementing general education curricula of primary education, ensure that all seven years old children and those who are six years old in the current calendar year and who live in the territory of educational institution are enrolled to the first grade regardless of their level of readiness;</p><p>The following documents are necessary for the admission of children to the first grade:</p><p> 1) a statement from the parents or other legal representatives of the child;</p><p> 2) a copy of the child's birth certificate;</p><p> 3) certificate of health status (form 026 / у-3);</p><p> 4) photos of 3x4 cm size - 2 pieces.</p><p> The acceptance of the documents specified in this paragraph from parents or other legal representatives of children entering the first grade of educational organizations that implement general educational curricula of primary education is executed from 1<sup>st</sup> of June to 30<sup>th</sup> of August of the current calendar year.</p><p>The Decree follows the norms to ensure enrollment of students who live in the territory of educational institution regardless their level of readiness to be enrolled to the first grade.</p>
